Not really. I've seen motivational posters w/o language/nudity that were pretty funny in their own right. As long as that's the case, you can pretty much go for it...and I'll laugh right w/ya.

Not your fault, Cane. Your just doing what you said you would and we as members have to live with it. I've modded on a few forums so I can respect that.

you are the mod that does everything around here, why uphold dumb rules that ruin a great thread?

we have like 20 people who post here, is it that big a deal of a pic said fukk?

seeing as how we dont have a mens forum anymore, why cant we put things here we used to put there?
i understand no hardcore porn or things like that, but these are the funniest pics on the interent, why rule 20 people with an iron fist?

how bout this;

If you had moderated a board, you'd understand that precautionary action to keep the majority happy (and to attract new users) is better than letting one thing go, then another, then another, then another--until people have a laundry list of things to complain about via PM. You can't let things snowball, and then have 10+ users upset over a multitude of things...just can't do it.

This isn't the same format as the old board, but the same Admins/Moderation/Membership are still here. That doesn't mean the rules changed to where you could post the f-bomb on open board. If you'll recall, you couldn't post those things on the Non-Sports board nor the Sports one even before the other boards existed. We created those boards to allow more leeway to people that wanted to see it (i.e.--the people who asked to be on those other boards & that were 18+). And, if you recall--a warning from a poster (not Mod/Admin) to the overly-sensitive doesn't override any content in the thread. I'm not gonna sit here and let f-bombs or worse get posted.

I don't know how else to put it Biggin--you can't cuss around here on these boards. The content is moderated to that point (within reason). The next thing that's gonna be moderated heavily, and I see it now--is people circumventing the filter to drop f-bombs and other words that are in the filter FOR A REASON. You're not the only one doing it either, so I'm not picking on just you. But, that's gonna have to be looked into for sure.

Keep in mind as well that there are KIDS that get on here, still in HS or just going into HS, and they may not post, but just read--and stuff like this isn't what we're about putting out there. Plus, some people have kids near the computer when they're on this board. You counter with "they hear worse at school"--yeah, I've heard that excuse before--but that's no reason for them to read it on here either.

ive been here a LONG time, even longer than you, so i feel like my opinion should matter a bit, but i guess not.

im not saying let everyone post porn or whatever, but these pics are hilarious, and it would be a great thread.

cant we compromise here? i know you like to keep this a really tight ship, but everyone that posts here now are older and mature enough to know when things are overboard.
